*Mutual respect for yourself, the director, and others at all times.
*Always have a pencil at every rehearsal. NO PENS!!
*Bring your instrument, and everything required to play that instrument, to class.
*Number your measures in every piece of music.
*Be on time and ready to play when the rehearsal begins. We allow five minutes for set-up and five minutes for packing up. There is no reason why everyone should not be ready to play five minutes from the start of class.
*Do not talk during rehearsals! It may be tempting to talk every time we stop playing but that is a huge waste of our rehearsal time. With setting up, packing up, and warming up, we are only left with 30 minutes for rehearsal time, which we will use.
*Maintain good posture – it is the only way that we can achieve a good sound as an ensemble.
*Absolutely NO food, drink, or gum allowed in the classroom.
*Give 100% every day, participate fully, and enjoy the rehearsal.
