The Chorus Picnic scheduled for tomorrow, Sept. 6, is cancelled.  Although we planned to come together to eat, team-build and create community, Tropical Storm Hanna has a different agenda.  Details about rescheduling will be discussed in class on Monday.

Many of our music students are still on vacation, so uniform measurements have been rescheduled.  Measurements will be the second week of school during certain music classes.  Details about measurements and uniform purchasing will be discussed in class.  New this year - payment for uniforms will be required in ordered to be measured!  More details when classes begin....

For the past 8 years, Jeffrey Benson has served as Director of Choral Activities.  Under his direction, the choirs have gained national recognition and have performed at the White House, Kennedy Center, Strathmore, New York City and in Europe.  He leaves us this year to persue his PhD at Florida State University.    We wish him well in this exciting and challenging endeavor and are grateful for all that he has done for our program.
